CMEonHIV.com is dedicated to providing online CME presentations (slides with voiceover) on HIV/AIDS for healthcare professionals given by local and international experts to keep you up-to-date on the ongoing developments in the field.

  Editorial board  


The Editorial Board of CMEonHIV.com is an independent committee whose mission is to ensure the scientific quality of the presentations in the online conferences section. Their mandate is to review and approve these presentations based on the validity of the information they provide. The mission of the CMEonHIV.com Editorial Board also includes attending major conferences on HIV/AIDS so that the most important presentations and speakers can be recommended. The Editorial Board members of CMEonHIV.com.au receive a fee for their participation. Lastly, the Editorial Board firmly believes that the success of CMEonHIV.com depends on the participation of members. Members are encouraged to share their ideas since the success of CMEonHIV.com depends on it.

Anita Rachlis

Anita Rachlis, MD, MEd, FRCP(C) Dr. Rachlis is Professor, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, University of Toronto. She has worked in HIV/AIDS care since 1983 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and has been involved in clinical research in the treatment of opportunistic infections and antiretroviral therapy. She received a Council Award in February 2002 from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario for her work in the care and treatment of HIV patients. She facilitated the development of the Canadian HIV Primary Care Mentorship Program and the Ontario HIV Observational Database (HOOD). Dr. Rachlis is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ontario HIV Treatment Network; was Associate Director, Ontario Region, of the Canadian HIV Trials Network; and serves as a scientific reviewer for granting agencies. She is a member of the Ontario Advisory Committee on HIV/AIDS. She was appointed to the Ministerial Council on HIV/AIDS in September 2003 and reappointed to the Ministerial Advisory Council on the Federal Initiative to Address HIV/AIDS in Canada in September 2007.
